🇮🇹 Ci sono luoghi che esistono ai margini delle mappe, dove il tempo rallenta e la vita segue ancora ritmi antichi .Ai Confini nasce da oltre trent’anni di viaggio tra montagne remote, deserti, steppe e regioni isolate del pianeta. È un racconto per immagini che attraversa territori estremi — dall’Himalaya al Karakorum, dalle tundre siberiane alle coste del Madagascar — e incontra popoli che vivono in equilibrio con ambienti fragili e spesso difficili. Non è solo una geografia dello spazio, ma anche del tempo: culture che resistono, gesti che si ripetono, vite che scorrono lontano dalla velocità del mondo contemporaneo. Le fotografie diventano così un punto di incontro, uno sguardo silenzioso su realtà lontane, ma profondamente umane.

At the Edge is the result of over thirty years of travel through remote mountains, deserts, steppes and isolated regions of the world. It is a visual narrative that moves across extreme landscapes — from the Himalaya to the Karakoram, from the Siberian tundra to the coasts of Madagascar — meeting people who live in balance with fragile and often demanding environments. It is not only a geography of space, but also of time: cultures that endure, gestures that repeat, lives unfolding far from the speed of the modern world.
